Step into history and hone your timber framing skills while working on an authentic Viking Hall and boat shelter in Branford/Guilford, Connecticut!
On June 14, 2025, Odin’s Warrior Tribe is inviting a select group of active and veteran military—along with a few non-military participants—to an exclusive, hands-on workshop. This full-day event (0900 – 1600/1700 hours) will immerse you in ancient and Old-World construction techniques as you help build our nearly 60-foot-long hall.
Led by Master Craftsmen
You’ll be guided by the expert woodworkers of Handlavet (Danish for "handmade") and Leetes Island Boatworks—European-trained craftsmen.
A Once-in-a-Lifetime Learning Opportunity
Not only will you gain firsthand experience in traditional Viking-era building methods, but you'll also enjoy a special presentation by Dr. William Short of Hurstwic, author of Men of Terror, on Viking Age Halls and Longhouses.
