2025 Veterans Programs Impact

VETERANS’ PROGRAMS

In 2025, Odin’s Warrior Tribe served as a powerful force for reconnection, renewal, and fellowship among our nation’s warriors and beyond. Through a wide array of immersive and transformational events, we engaged over 175 active-duty service members, Veterans, and first responders in direct participation—and reached many more through public engagements and our growing digital presence – 33,000 followers on Facebook, Instagram, and You Tube combined. In a typical year we are in direct contact with up to 200 active and veteran military members.

Our mission is rooted in Adventure Cognitive Behavioral Therapy—a framework grounded in action, reflection, and shared experience. Our carefully designed small-group events (typically 10–24 participants) allow for true camaraderie, personal growth, and meaningful conversation. Whether at a Viking-themed adventure, a battlefield immersion such as Gettysburg, or a museum recruiting event, each gathering rekindled a sense of belonging, confidence, and purpose. While most of our participants were United States military—both active and Veteran, many with combat experience—we also welcomed international connections. In 2025, we had the honor of engaging overseas with British and German Veterans, and a Norwegian Veteran, reminding us that military brotherhood and sisterhood cross borders and languages.

We proudly welcomed several disabled Veterans and first responders into our experiences this year, reaffirming our commitment to accessibility, dignity, and warrior inclusion for all. Our members and leaders—drawn from the ranks of active-duty and Veteran service—lead by example, walking alongside those still navigating the aftershocks of duty: PTSD, grief, depression, loss, and transition. While we are not therapists, we are peers in purpose. Around our fire pits and dinner tables, the quiet power of listening and storytelling created shared ground. These moments became fertile soil for coaching, mentoring, and healing—where burdens were shared and hope was renewed.

At public venues such as the WoodenBoat Show, we spoke with hundreds of Veterans and civilians, planting seeds for future relationships. Many of these conversations were brief, but each was meaningful. Every handshake, every moment of recognition, contributed to the growing circle of those who understand that the warrior path is not meant to be walked alone.

This year, we carried the torch of military values—of service, sacrifice, courage, and kinship. We walked beside those still in uniform and those long since returned, and we created a place where the warrior’s heart could rest, speak, and rise again.

We are not merely hosting events. We are building experiences for veterans that matter—grounded in integrity, shaped by connection, and fueled by the unshakable belief that those who have served deserve not just thanks, but purpose and camaraderie.

In 2025, we spent $35,000 on events and activities that served active and veteran military. That includes $13,700 invested into the Viking Hall/Boat Shelter Project.
