Calling all warriors, veterans, and history enthusiasts! On June 14, 2025, Odin’s Warrior Tribe is offering a rare, hands-on experience that blends history, craftsmanship, and camaraderie. This exclusive, full-day workshop (0900 – 1600/1700 hours) invites active and veteran military members—to take part in constructing an authentic Viking longhouse nearly 60 feet in length!
🔥 Master the Craft of the Ancients 🔥Under the expert guidance of Handlavet and Leetes Island Boatworks, European-trained master craftsmen, you’ll work with your hands, learn time-honored techniques, and contribute to building a piece of history.
📖 Deepen Your Knowledge 📖As part of this immersive experience, renowned Viking historian Dr. William Short of Hurstwic—author of Men of Terror—will present an exclusive talk on Viking Age halls and longhouses, shedding light on the history and function of these mighty structures.
